The FRP cooling tower at the Shanghai Laogang Renewable Energy Utilization Center Phase II Project, designed by SPX Company, incorporates SPARE company's FRP materials for enhanced performance. With a mechanical ventilation mist elimination design, it efficiently handles 4000m3/h of cooling water per tower, totaling 40000m3/h. The tower group, arranged in a single line on the southwest side, consists of two sets of five towers each, with a shared circulating water pump room nearby. Each tower, utilizing SPARE's pultruded FRP frame structure, stands at 21.2 meters tall and 21.1 meters wide, offering both strength and lightweight characteristics, with over 400 tons of FRP pultruded profiles used in total.

A recent study by the U.S. Forest Service has shed light on the declining quality of modern wood products, particularly for use in demanding outdoor environments such as coastal boardwalks and seaside promenades. The research found that wood harvested today is less dense and less durable due to accelerated growth cycles. This has led to increased issues with warping, cracking, and deterioration, especially in high-exposure settings.

On October 28, we conducted a load-bearing test on our Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) pallets, placing 39 scales of 20KG each on the pallet for a total weight of 780KG, significantly above the original design load of 500KG. After 24 hours under static load, the FRP pallet showed remarkable resilience and stability, validating its suitability for high-load environments.
