Reference weights are for estimation only; actual values are subject to factory test data. Standard length is 6 meters; custom lengths are available.

Resin Systems and Performance

Spare Composite offers the following resin systems to meet different service environments and corrosion resistance requirements:

• Polyester: General purpose, suitable for outdoor and mildly corrosive environments.
• Isophthalic: Water and mild acid/alkali resistant, suitable for water treatment and general industrial environments.
• Vinylester: High corrosion resistance, suitable for strong acids, strong alkalis, oxidizing media, and offshore platforms.
• Epoxy: High strength and high temperature resistance, suitable for structural load-bearing and applications requiring extremely high electrical insulation.

Flame retardant grades are available to meet different fire safety requirements. Typical temperature range: -50°C to +120°C (varies by resin system).

Color and Appearance

Standard color is light grey (RAL 7035). Custom colors are available on request. Surface can be smooth or slip-resistant. UV-resistant coatings are available to extend outdoor service life.

Installation and Fabrication Guidelines

• Cut with standard woodworking tools or diamond blades. Carbide-tipped tools are recommended.
• Drill at low speed with high feed to avoid overheating and burning the resin.
• Use T-nuts or slot nuts with bolts to ensure reliable connections.
• Avoid over-tightening to prevent slot deformation or profile cracking.
• For on-site bonding, use epoxy or vinylester structural adhesives and follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
